A Waikiki couple has submitted a civil grievance in Circuit Court in opposition to a Honolulu law firm alleging he sexually assaulted the spouse in August and September 2019 right after he was retained as the wife’s divorce law firm.
Miyoko Shitara filed a law enforcement report Feb. 7, 2020, alleging sexual assault, which includes rape, but had not listened to again from police or the prosecutor’s business office until finally the Honolulu Star-Advertiser inquired about the scenario.

Singh allegedly took some of the husband’s possessions, saved them at his home and told Shitara it was to negotiate the divorce and that he would afterwards return it.
The pair reconciled, and when Shitara questioned for the items back, Singh demanded $15,000 in remaining attorney’s costs.
She compensated it, but Singh allegedly failed to return the items, until eventually an legal professional was used to retrieve the residence, Stewart claimed.
